Hartley’s Garden and Maintenance was started by our director, Jake. After working over a decade in the horticulture industry from the best golf courses, to councils and private companies, Hartley’s Garden and Maintenance was born!
He started out by completing an apprenticeship at Kingston Heath Golf club, specialising in restoring locally native (indigenous plants) across the entire property. After moving on from there, Jake worked as a ranger at various councils, before working at several private horticulture companies, even doing a degree in environmental science! Jake eventually went on to open up his own business and that’s where we are today!
We specialise in native and locally native plants, weed control, planting and establishing gardens as well as all aspects of garden care!
